Situated in North Carolina, is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies
One of the most fun places to be in the national park is to be at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies. They have sharks, turtles, exotic fish, swordfish and a whole host of smaller sea creatures. This is excellent for the children as it’s educational and interactive. Parents can explore different sections that are more historical, archaeological and the children can go on guided tours that would fit into their world of observation. Gatlinburg SkyLift Park
This is one of the most supreme places to visit in the mountains. It’s got the best views by far thanks is it’s skylift. The cable carts are very comfortable, they don’t swing wildly with the wind and they are roomy enough for about 3 people. They are oc fouxe, benches so you are totally in the elements as you go up and up. So wrap up warm if it’s that time of year where you have a wind chill. Bear in mind, the lift goes all the way up to the peak which is 1,800 ft! That’s quite a way up, considering you are not in a closed cart, you’re actually on an open air bench. Of course, it’s absolutely safe and hundreds of thousands of visitors come through every year without any major incidents.
