Since 1909, the Azienda Agricola Pupillo has carefully tended its vines to create smooth and sumptuous vintages. Located on the south-east coast of the island, not far from Syracuse, Azienda Agricola Pupillo has become one of Sicily’s must visit wineries.

At the winery, the vintners pride themselves on championing biodiversity. Over the last few decades, the team have been prioritising the cultivation of indigenous grape varieties to create wines like no other.

Gambino Winery

Grown at altitudes of over 800 metres, the vines of the Gambino Winery can be found hugging the slopes of the iconic Mt. Etna. The team at Gambino are dedicated to keeping their wine-making processes as natural as possible.

Blending modern technologies with ancient techniques, they produce clean, crisp wines with minimal sulphites. Their underground cellar is buried 10 metres deep into the volcano, creating the perfect, naturally temperature-controlled environment to store their wines.

Benanti Winery

Benanti was established in 1734 and has been tending its vines on the volcanic soil of Mt. Etna’s slopes ever since. The winery is synonymous with the wine-making history of Sicily and their vintages rank among the best in the region.

Inspired by the grandeur of their surroundings, Benanti express the excellence and uniqueness of the region with a selection of bold, smooth wines. Respect for the centuries of family wine production in the region drives everything they do.

Cantine Pellegrino

With over 140 years of experience behind it, the family-run Cantine Pellegrino dominates the western tip of Sicily. With several wine estates and tasting rooms located in and around Marsala, it’s hard to skip a visit here.

With an enviable history, Cantine Pellegrino has produced dazzling wines thanks to the dry climate and intense light that this region enjoys. The family are committed to safeguarding Sicilian wine-making and produce some of the best vintages on the island.
