The Guides
Employing their guides full time, each of the Wild Gaze Safari tour guides have a minimum of ten years safari experience. Ernest only works with the best and will accept nothing other than the finest guides to lead their tours and safaris. Some of the requirements is an encyclopaedic knowledge of the history, geography, people, flora and fauna of East Africa, as well as excellent driving, mechanical skills and a great talent for entertainment and engagement.
REGROW and Southern Circuit
There are plans by the Government of Tanzania to receive funding from the IDA International Development Association for the Resilient Natural Resource Management for Tourism and Growth (REGROW) Project.
It seeks to strengthen the management of protected areas and promote nature-based tourism in South Tanzania in an area known as the Southern Circuit.
As this will contribute to the diversification of livelihoods in selected communities Wild Gaze Safaris supports the initiative and the plans to implement REGROW
in a transparent and inclusive manner and has developed framework guidance documents to operationalise the project
