Felin Geri was a successful tourist attraction for many years in the 1980’s. A victim of changing vacationing behaviours and the rise of cheap foreign holidays it closed in 1991. It was reopened by Alan and JaneWorley in June 2016.
Jane reveals that Felin Geri glamping was established to build a successful business within the 24 acres of their new home’s grounds in order to pay for a programme of restoration works of the locally renowned Felin Geri Mill.
Bringing the site back into the community, the aim is to eventually grind corn again for historic and educational purposes and potentially use the water wheel as an alternative energy source.
The result of their work so far is a peaceful, rural glamping site with beautiful luxury safari lodge tents.
Felin Geri offers guests the ideal location to get back to basics with both family and friends. Each safari tent offers the height of luxury (plus private hot tubs!) with every detail lovingly thought out. From superb 400 thread count linen on comfortable beds, to your own kitchen, bathroom and shower. Felin Geri guarantees a peaceful home from home.
Jane and her husband have planning permission for 12 safari tents at Felin Geri and intend to build up the business to that level over the next five years. They also have very exciting plans to extend the cafe and bar and convert some of the numerous outbuildings.
Free WIFI is available at the Café Bar
Felin Geri is based in stunning rural West Wales, set across 24 acres of beautiful pasture and woodland, with the River Ceri tumbling through the site.
